چکیده
Numerical wave models have been developed for the forecast in last two decades; however, it faces challenges terms of requirement large computing resources and improvement accuracy. Based on a convolutional long short-term memory (ConvLSTM) algorithm, this paper establishes two-dimensional (2D) significant height (SWH) prediction model South East China Seas trained by WaveWatch III (WW3) reanalysis data. We conduct 24-h predictions under normal extreme conditions, respectively. Under condition, 6-, 12-, forecasting, their correlation coefficients are 0.98, 0.93, 0.83, mean absolute percentage errors 15, 29, 61%. condition (typhoon), 6 12 h, 0.98 0.94, 19 40%, which is better than all It concluded that ConvLSTM can be applied to 2D with high accuracy efficiency.

Meris Performance in the East China Seas : Evaluation Of
Spectral remote sensing reflectance in the visible (Rrs(λ), sr) was derived from ENVISAT MERIS data over the East China Seas, and compared with those determined from concurrent in situ measurements between 2003 and 2007. The results showed that both the FUB plug-in module and the standard MERIS Level-2 data generally overestimated Rrs(λ), particularly in the blue, while FUB plug-in shows a sign...
متن کاملThe Rise of Extreme Typhoon Power and Duration over South East Asia Seas
The study features an analysis of 40 years of records of longitude, latitude and power (wind speed) of tropical storms and typhoons over South East Asia seas. The results demonstrate the growing intensity of the most severe events. The singular spectrum analysis of wind speed series from 1960 till 2000 identified two sub-periods of roughly similar behavior. Then, the recorded events were classi...
متن کاملTsunami Simulations for Regional Sources in the South China and Adjoining Seas
We present 14 scenarios of potential tsunamis in the South China Sea and its adjoining basins, the Sulu and Sulawezi Seas. The sources consist of earthquake dislocations inspired by the the study of historical events, either recorded (since 1900) or described in historical documents going back to 1604. We consider worst-case scenarios, where the size of the earthquake is not limited by the larg...
